watch the trailerDaniel Green is a serial entrepreneur who built his entire career on initiative, creativity and the belief that ideas matter more than resources. Growing up he never fit into conventional academic pressures, and that discomfort pushed him to carve his own unconventional path. His first business began with nothing but a phone and a bold idea, leading to a breakthrough partnership with Interflora and later to clothing concessions inside major UK retailers. Those early ventures taught him to spot hidden opportunities, trust instinct over tradition and lean on young talent, creativity and momentum. Over the years, Daniel built and sold multiple businesses by moving fast, reading markets intuitively and approaching top decision-makers directly. His biggest leap came with HomeSun, where he pioneered the concept of leasing homeowners’ airspace to fund free solar panels. In just 18 months he scaled from 0 to 7,000 installations, won a High Court battle against the UK government and sold the company for £100 million. His expertise later led the Cabinet Office and even the Pentagon to seek his strategic insight. Through every chapter, Daniel’s compass remained the same - integrity, contribution and the courage to bet everything on Plan A.
In this session, Daniel shares a direct, energetic breakdown of the mindset and strategy behind building and selling multiple companies. He talks about creating opportunity from nothing, learning markets through real-world action, spotting the "queue around the block" moments that signal demand, and managing the fear of running out of time or cash. He explains why early pivots are essential, why no business ends the way it starts, and how to turn uncertainty into forward motion. Daniel also dives into knowing when to sell, and the art of approaching decision-makers at the very top. He reveals how to build businesses that benefit everyone involved - customers, suppliers and investors - and why integrity is the true foundation of long-term success. His lessons are practical, honest and deeply human, offering a roadmap for entrepreneurs who want to move boldly, think creatively and trust their instincts even when the path looks unclear.
